The flight was not something Sheva wanted to ever relive. She had said to get them a quick flight - she didn't know that that would have involved nearly a dozen hours in the belly of a cargo C130. She had been ecstatic to know they were landing, and tho it had been rough touching down on the snowy, second hand military runway.... at least it was ground.
The members of the team suited up in heavy winter gear, she tried to raise Jill's signal. No answer - damn it. Sheva hooked the radio on her belt before pulling her jacket on. It took a but of the chill off, not much tho.... she sighed. Snow was not on her list of wishes, but that didn't stop it from having 3 feet of the white mess piled on the ground as the group departed the plane - leaving the pilot to keep their ride ready to leave at a moments' notice. Could never be too careful.
"Bloody hell, its freezing!"
Sheva couldn't help the explanation as she pulled the fur lined hood of her parka up over her tightly braided back hair. Dark eyes peered at Chris, hoping that they had made the right choice. The third of their group didn't seem phased; Sheva wondered.
"Any luck?"
Sherry Birkin shook her head, gloved fingers tucking the satellite phone into her side pack.
" No.... Brazil's office isn't picking up. Strange... Carlos is always at the office at this hour tho..."
"No time to worry - we'll try again later. First things first, direction?"
After a few moments of fighting with the GPS, Sherry looked at the pair from behind her snow goggles.
" The GPS on Jill's phone it too the northwest - maybe about 2 miles? 4 at most, I think.... that is, if she has it with her..."
Sheva nodded, pulling the radio free. She gave it a underhand toss to Chris with a smile.
"You try to call her; radio or cellphone, I don't care..."

Stepping off the huge C-130, Chris immediately shuddered. You could feel the air growing colder in the back of the plane, but it wasn't nearly as bad as when you first emerged. Chris had been in Russia before, so he was a little more acclimated to the cold than Sheva was, but that didn't mean he wasn't still cold as hell. Even in a huge White Parka Chris was shivering just a little bit. Plus his Gun was not exactly all that warm either; the cold making the metal frosty.
"Strange that Carlos isn't answering; though he nevers answers for me. Guess I can't blame him though." Chris shrugged and then looked in the direction that Sherry had indicated and started off when Sheva threw the Radio in his direction. Had she not addressed him before she tossed it, odds are he would not have looked back just in time to snatch it before it hit the snow bank, as it was he bobbled it a little before finally getting a firm grip on it.
"Nice Toss." Chris said as he tried the frequency again but only heard Static. He then pulled out his Cell from one of his many pockets and turned it back on. Once the phone was fully on there was no Signal. Perfect. "I guess the Motherland doesn't believe in Cell Towers........ or maybe this is a Dead Zone. Well; I guess we do this the old fashioned way. Keep your eyes and ears open, we're going in."
Chris announced and then continued over the bank. Good thing the GPS was still working, it'd be far too easy to get lost in all of this Snow.
